Radiohead drummer Philip Selway has confirmed the details of his forthcoming solo album. The record will be entitled Familial, and will be released on August 30th.
The record was produced by Ian Davenport, and the music will feature contributions from singer-songwriter Lisa Germano, Sebastien Seinberg (the former bassist of Soul Coughing), drummer Glenn Kotche (of Wilco) and multi-instrumentalist Patrick Sansone.
This may not be groundbreaking news to many people, but I felt the need to post this as Selway was last week confirmed to be playing the Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co. Laois this September - could be an interesting prospect!
