If you missed any - or just wanted to refresh your memory... There it all is anyway!

Onwards and upwards with number 3 anyway...

3. Cork X South West
Where? Skibbereen, West Cork.
When? July 31st
Why? There's a lot of good things going for Cork X SW this year. Modelled after the famous SXSW in Austin, TX, the Cork edition welcomes its biggest and boldest line-up ever this year. The headline acts are Martha Wainwright and Bonnie "Prince" Billy & The Cairo Gang, while a quick look further down the list shows the Frank & Walters [riding high following the fantastic The Parson that was released in April], The Hothouse Flowers and Mick Flannery, as well as the likes of O'Emperor and Low Mountain - there is a lot going on here.
Cork X SW has the benefit of being an all-tented affair too so rain is not an issue, while on site camping is offered for the one day event. Tickets are priced at just €55 - a steal in comparison to some of the other small festivals in Ireland this summer, especially when you take a look at the eclectic line-up on offer. There is also a variety of drama and comedy spectacles, as well as artistic displays and a number of djs.
More Information is available at http://www.corkxsw.com/, while tickets are sold via http://www.tickets.ie/

Check back tomorrow for number 2, while my top Independent Music Festival will be announced on Friday, along with a completed list of the top 10. Thanks for reading!
