The National: "You Were A Kindness"

The National popped into The Current on Minnesota Public Radio for a short interview and a few tracks. The band played England, Terrible Love and Bloodbuzz Ohio from this year's phenomenal High Violet, as well as the previously unreleased You Were A Kindness.

The latter is a dark, brooding and morose piano driven affair, and has cropped up in a number of live shows lately. The band have even performed it with Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and it may be one to look out for at this year's Electric Picnic.

The full set and interview is below. The new track is the 3rd of the 4 songs played.
