Reason #3: Caribou @ Body & Soul
I was pretty excited anyway about seeing the improvised electronic live-show of the one man electronica act that is Caribou (Daniel Victor Snaith to his friends...), but when it was confirmed that it would be in the spectacular surroundings that I have been assured the Body & Soul Area is... Well...
Trippy, psychedelic electric sounds - this seems to be the ideal mesh of location and sound and is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the festival.
Accompanied by a complex visual show, Snaith pours himself into the music and the performance - the ambient beats complimented by samples and rhythms that swing them to life.
Not to be missed...
