Just over a month left until Ireland's second major music festival kicks off and there has been eleven additions to a fantastic bill that already includes the National, LCD Soundsystem, Massive Attack, the Frames, Roxy Music, Leftfield and many more.
The following were confirmed today: Two Door Cinema Club; Robyn; Laura Marling; The Antlers; The Tallest Man on Earth; Cymbals Eat Guitars; Chew Lips; Fang Island; The Riptide Movement; Donal Dineen & Friends; Brian Deady.
A great selection there. Two Door Cinema Club are one of the hottest indie bands to come out of this country, while Laura Marling, the Tallest Man on Earth and the Antlers have all released absolutely fantastic albums in the last year or so.
Tickets for the Picnic are still available and with one of the best line-ups I have seen for a festival in a very long time, I'd pick one up sharpish if I was you!
