New Tracks from the National AND Band of Horses!

Now this is EXACTLY what ya wanna hear at the end of the day.

The National have released a second track from the forthcoming High Violet. The track is called Afraid of Everyone and is a typical National track. It is slow burning, building toward powerful vocals. The staccato guitar we hear throughout is reminiscent of Interpol's first and third records in part, while the hushed start almost sounds like it belongs on Neon Bible rather than an album from the National. I'm getting more and more excited about this track!

Listen to and download the track at: http://pitchfork.com/news/38478-download-the-new-national-song-afraid-of-everyone-now/

Also we have a new track from Band of Horses. It is the second track released from their upcoming third album, Infinite Arms, and is called Laredo. Less impressed with this one but it's still worth a listen. Check it out at Band of Horses official website, http://bandofhorses.com/ or in the player below.
