News Updates...

So Michael Eavis has confirmed that Stevie Wonder and Muse are to be the other two headliners of Glastonbury 2010? Alongside U2, and expected appearences from Vampire Weekend, Dizzee Rascal and Hot Chip... An odd mix...

Meanwhile Blink-182 (Yeah I'd forgotten about them too) have dropped hints that they may be doing the festivals this summer, while a Facebook campaign to get Jedward to headline Oxegen is gathering momentum... I do believe I wont be leaving the house this summer!!!

On a more serious note, huge congratulations to the Irish contingent nominated for Oscars this year. That's "Granny O'Grimm's Sleeping Beauty" for Animated Short, "The Door" for Live Action Short, "The Secret of Kells" for Best Animated Feature, as well as Irish involvement with the sound editing in Star Trek, and the special effects in Avatar (Surely that ones a shoe-in!)

Good luck to all of them, and also to Kathryn Bigelow with "The Hurt Locker". I'm praying for her to trump ex-husband James Cameron in the Best Picture and Director categories.
